Terms and conditions for all purchases from Åland Post's online shop
Depending on its size and weight, your order will be posted as a letter or parcel to the address you have stated at the time of purchase.
Time of delivery
Depending on destination, the time of delivery varies. The usual time of delivery is 5-10 working days for destinations in the Nordic Countries and 10-15 working days for destinations in Europe. The processing time of your order is not included in the estimated times of delivery. Please note that, if you order products that have not yet been issued, we will ship your order in full immediately after the date of issue.
A €3.00 handling fee will be added to the price of all orders placed in the Post's web shop. Standard delivery to Finland, Nordic countries and Europe: Economy. Standard delivery to the rest of the world: Priority. Registered mail is available for an additional fee. No other charges are applicable except registration fees.
Orders from Finland
Orders from Finland for less than €22 are delivered exempt of VAT. A 24% VAT is implemented on orders from Finland for €22 or more. The VAT is added to the invoice amount. VAT may be applicable even in other countries according to the local taxation regulations.
All prices listed in the web shop are listed in euro (€) and exempt of VAT. We reserve the right to adjust prices if rates of exchange, taxation, fees or similar costs should change. Justifiable adjustments will be made immediately. We also reserve the right to rectify incorrect prices caused by, for example, printing errors.
An automated order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address stated by you when ordering.
Right to cancel a purchase, change and return
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Consequently, you have the right to return and/or exchange your products within eight days upon receipt. Please state the reason for returning the shipment as well as your customer number so that we may credit your account in case of a refund. To receive a refund, the products must be undamaged and returned in the original packaging/wrapping if any such exists. Get in touch with our customer service for additional information concerning the return of shipments.
Note that the responsibility lies upon the customer that the products are returned to the Post. Consequently, we advise our customers to always save the receipt when returning goods to us.

You can choose between the following methods of payment:
- Against invoice
You can choose to pay for your delivery upon receipt. An invoice will be included with your shipment. Your order should amount to less than €200 if you wish to pay against invoice. Should it be necessary to issue a payment reminder, charges will be incurred. We reserve the right to demand prepayment.
- Online banking
You can choose to pay online if you have a bank account with either Ålandsbanken, Nordea Bank or Andelsbanken. By choosing Online Banking as payment option on the Payment page, you will be directed to the website of your bank from where you continue the payment process using your personal bank codes.
- Credit/debit card
You can also choose to pay online for your order by VISA, MasterCard or MAESTRO. When choosing payment by credit or debit card, you will automatically be forwarded to NETS, our payment services provider.
Processing of personal data
The personal data you provide when placing an order for products or services will be registered and saved electronically, and will be used to process your order. Data may also be used for follow-up and development of Åland Post services and for marketing purposes at Åland Post.
Åland Post is responsible for processing the personal data that is submitted in conjunction with purchases made via alandstamps.com. You are legally entitled to obtain information on the personal data that has been registered for you, and to have incorrect or misleading personal data corrected.
